On July 30, an online video showed that a Lulai EC6 electric car crashed and burst into flames in Pudong, Shanghai, killing its owner.

Li Bin said that a team was organized to help clean up the aftermath and the investigation of the accident, according to a notice issued by the official of Xilai on its App. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Li Bin, founder and CEO of Xilai, replied under the notice: "I was very sad to hear the news this morning. I mourn the unfortunate death of the user who has organized a team to help with the aftermath and accident investigation."

At present, the fire department determined that it was a traffic accident, while the traffic police department is still investigating the traffic accident.

Xia Qinghua, general manager of Shanghai Lulai Automobile customer Service Co., Ltd., also expressed condolences to the driver, saying that he would do a good job in dealing with the aftermath and cooperate in analyzing the cause of the accident, and the follow-up information of Synchronize would be informed in time.

Xia Qinghua also said that according to the preliminary judgment of the damaged vehicle, the battery pack is basically intact.

It is understood that the EC6 is an intelligent electric sedan SUV, under the Lulai brand, which began to be delivered in September last year. At present, it is not clear what kind of configuration the accident vehicle is.

As soon as it happened, it fermented on the Internet, causing a heated discussion among netizens.
